Copper Care, Cleansing and Charging Crystals:

How Do I care for copper?

Pure copper is shiny like a new penny initially, but over time copper it naturally darkens to a rustic brown color. This is not a defect and it does not mean that your item was not made with pure copper. It simply signifies age and distinction. 

To keep it copper tarnish free, you can consider purchasing a cleaner through your favorite retailer that is designed for restoring copper back to that new penny shine. There are also home remedies that can be searched for online using lemon, salt, baking soda, vinegar, etc. 

*True copper may leave a green tint on the skin over time. This is natural. To avoid this, simply clean and polish your copper jewelry.

How do I cleanse and charge crystals?

Most of us are drawn to certain crystals due to the energy they emit. This may be a result of us needing to add that energy to us or to use that crystal's energy to release burdensome attachments we may have connected ourselves to.

Cleansing:

To cleanse a crystal means that you wish to restore the crystal’s energy back to its baseline- like it was just dug out of the ground or its place in nature.

While it is best to search for your crystal online first to ensure that your crystal isn’t sensitive to being cleansed with water or direct sunlight, most crystals can be submerged in water with salt for a few hours, or running water for cleansing. Another method is to ground it by placing it in earth or soil if the crystal is sensitive to water. Other methods are smudging crystals by burning incense and allowing the smoke to cleanse it, sound (such as from a singing bowl), and herbs.

Charging:

To charge crystals means that you are amplifying the properties of that crystal. To do this, you can put your jewelry in the sun to soak up the rays. Put it in the moonlight for the same reason. You can also charge crystals using other crystals such as Selenite, Clear Quartz, Labradorite, etc. Herbs and rain can also be used to charge crystals with energy.

Another method is to energetically cleanse or charge the crystal with your own energy (because yes, you are powerful!) to do this you mentally ground and clear yourself so that you are able to focus on clearing the energy of that particular crystal. You then envision surrounding that crystal in light and pure energy, then visualize you pushing the impurities from it. This method relies heavily upon you being in tune with yourself, the crystal, and shifting of energy so that you will feel when the energetic cleansing is completed. You would follow the same steps to charge it. Just don’t forget to include adding your intent into the mix.

Shipping:

Will I receive updates on my order’s shipping status?

Once an order is confirmed you will receive a series of email notifications. The first email will confirm your order has been submitted and list the details of your order. Since all items are handmade, allow 2-3 business days for your order to be processed before being shipped. Once your order has moved past the processing stage a shipping label will be created in our system to signal that the item is ready for shipping. At this point, another notification will be sent to you with the tracking information for your order.

How long will my order take to arrive?

The delivery time will depend primarily on three factors: item availability, handling time, and shipping service.

Item Availability:

Unless otherwise noted, all items on the website are available.  

Handling Time:

All items are handmade so allow 2-3 days for most orders to be created or made. Custom orders will require more time and we will contact you via your desired method of contact for a consultation to prepare your order to your liking. Complex orders may take two weeks or greater to complete depending on several factors relative to your piece, but we will clarify this during our initial consultation with you. Throughout the time your custom order is being prepared, we will periodically provide you with updates on your order.

Shipping Service:

During checkout, shipping is added per item and is typically mailed via USPS first class mail which boasts delivery to most areas in the USA in 2-3 business days*.

International shipping:  We will show you a list of available shipping services and their corresponding prices and timeframes. You may also view shipping charges and timeframes through the "Calculate Shipping" link in the shopping cart. Note some items carry a special delivery timeframe that may differ from that of other items from the same region -- these items are clearly labeled with the special timeframe on the product detail page (as well as in checkout)*.

*If we determine that we will not be able to deliver an order within the promised timeframe, we will immediately contact you via email.

Return Policy:


At Sun’s Jewelry, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your order, we are here to help. Please carefully read our return policy to facilitate a smooth return process.


1. Return Eligibility:


To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.


2. Time Frame:


We accept returns within 30 days of the purchase date.


3. Excluded Items:


Several types of goods are exempt from being returned, such as earrings, hair jewelry, and nose jewelry.


4. Return Process:


To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at Sunsjewelrydesigns@gmail.com or (803) 620-4020 to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Please securely package the item(s) and clearly label the package with the RMA number.

Ship the item(s) to: PO BOX 667542, Charlotte, NC 28266.


5. Refunds:


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 30 days.


6. Shipping Costs:


Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

7. Exchanges:


If you require an exchange, please follow the return process, and we will process a new order for the desired item upon approval of the return.
